    SDTC Looking for Next Cleantech Innovators

    SDTC's SD Tech FundTM and SD Natural Gas FundTM provide co-funding support for selected Canadian pre-commercial demonstration projects to de-risk innovative clean technologies, carried out by a consortium of project partners who are well positioned to enable commercialization and replication of the technology after the project. SDTC will be accepting Statement of Interest (SOI) applications before April 15.

    First Sale of Carbon Offsets by Biothermica

    Montreal-based company Biothermica held the first sale on Quebec-California market of more than 80,000 tonnes of carbon offsets, worth 860,000 Canadian dollars. More info

    Inauguration of a Renewable Natural Gas Facility

    Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd. inaugurated the largest Canadian renewable natural gas facility in Terrebonne, where landfill gas is converted to natural gas and delivered to the TransCanada pipeline network. More info

    Polystyvert Collaborates with Ecocenters from Granby

    Since last December, a new recycling system is tested in Haute-Yamaska, in collaboration with the company Polystyvert of Anjou, and ensures that all polystyrens can now be filed in any ecocentres.
